Award-winning casting director and acting coach, Tracey Moore is known within the entertainment industry as one of the stronger forces behind acting hopefuls. Take the Lead in Your Life offers a dynamic forum and highly interactive workshop that covers interview and audition techniques, in addition to leading and managing your career.

A life and career that began on a two-hundred dollar budget, a trunk of clothes, and a one-way ticket to New York as a TV and film and casting director for some of the most respected networks and American lifestyle brands, has evolved into a successful career as an author, teacher and empowering acting coach for thousands of aspiring actors including some of the entertainment industry’s hippest and most popular: Eve, Ludacris, Darius Rucker (Hootie and the Blowfish), Busta Rhymes, Nelly, Missy Elliot, Chico DeBarge, Renee (Zhane), Faith Evans, Q-Tip, Common, Musiq Soulchild, Russell Hornsby, Kellita Smith, Nina Sky, and Terrence and Rocsi of BET Network’s 106 & Park, successfully transitioning them from the TV or music industry to characters on the big screen.
With the support and vision of web master Michael Prince, company President and brother James B. Moore III, and a team of ten amazing dedicated people, The Spirited Actor Inc. thrives as a successful brand and platform of learning for some of the industry’s leading directors, casting directors, actors, producers, and agents.
“There is no end of the road for this woman who believes her purpose is to inspire and motive people to dream and to dream big,” says James B. Moore III about his sister and business partner who has written for ESSENCE and the BET Weekend Magazine, Black Talent News and Casting Corner, and received several accolades throughout her illustrious career, including a Parent Choice Silver Award in 2004 for her work with Nickelodeon Network, Film and Television Executive of the Year Award in 2003 from the National Association of Black Female Executives, and the 2004 Hattie McDaniel Art Award from Sigma Gamma Delta Nu Sigma Chapter. Shortly after her directorial debut in the 1990’s Tracey co-wrote a short film with Busta Rhymes for HBO entitled "Sounds of New York", produced by Madonna and is currently working on rewrites for her first feature film entitled The Departure which she will direct in the winter of 2009.
